Born with an innate appreciation for nature, he is often inspired by the shores of Lake Michigan and the vast landscapes of the Midwest.
His works explore vibrant atmospheres of shifting landscapes, subconscious rhythms, and expressive spontaneity at the Paintings and Store pages. Each piece reflects a rich clash of hues and organic forms through intuitive mark-making with experimental tools and unconventional layering.
Inspired by nature, memory, and the unpredictable flow of water, Castle’s work captures fleeting moments of transformation, remembered emotions, depth of field and color. His works have been featured in galleries across the country.
He looks forward to spending retirement painting the beautiful waters and changing seasons of Pentwater, Michigan.
